Nozzles are one of the most important parts of your printer. Knowing when to change them and what to change them to can have a drastic effect on print quality and the time it takes to print your parts. Most printers come with a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle, but changing this to a 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzle can make printing parts much faster if you don’t mind a slightly lower quality. Also, harder nozzles can last longer, especially if you are printing abrasive materials that have additives in them such as Carbon, metal or wood filaments. If you want to print these sorts of materials, we normally recommend going for a 0.6mm nozzle or above, as this helps to prevent blockages over time. We have a wide range of nozzles available for all of the printers we sell and more.
