So, why would you want to dissolve your hard earned prints in water?
You can make moulds or supports and rafts that dissolve once you are done with them.
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH, PVA, or PVAL) is a water-soluble synthetic polymer hydrolysed from polyvinyl acetate. PVA is fully degradable and is soluble. PVA has a glass transition temperature of around 85°C (185F). It decomposes rapidly above 200°C as it can undergo thermochemical decomposition at high temperatures.
